Vaartkom-Op-Zondag
With the works at the urban renewal part of Leuven ("Vaartkom") coming to an end, the town of Leuven called for a celebration. She wanted to organise a day full of festivities during which the people of Leuven and adjoining municipalities could all come and discover this renewed part of town, that was long left behind.
I drew an isometric monochrome version of the post-industrial site, with its famous buildings and filled up the spaces with smaller illustrations of people making music, enjoying the new shops, walking the dog or simply having a drink next to the water.
